CVS ~ Trip with no ECB's involved.. Spent $5.83, Saved $26.57!!

I spent $5.83 (saved $26.57) this trip and it involved absolutely no Extra Care Bucks. I had some pretty awesome CVS red coupon machine coupons and found a clearance deal as well as a couple of sale items to make up this trip! I had to break it up into two transactions because you are only allowed to use one of the $2.50/1 Kit Kat Minis coupons per transaction. Here's how I did it:

Transaction #1
  • (1) Kit Kat Minis 8 oz size on sale $3.00 each. Used $2.50/1 Kit Kat Mini's CVS coupon & $1.00 off manufacturer's coupon (see how to do this here) = $0.50 Money maker!
  • (1) Just the Basics Single Roll Paper Towel. On sale for $0.79. (Used $0.79 off Just the Basics Paper Towel CVS coupon, printing for everyone this week) = FREE
  • (1) Coca-Cola Classic on sale ~ $0.88
  • (1) CVS Antacid Chews 12 count ~ $1.49 (Used a CVS red machine coupon for FREE CVS brand Antacid Chews & a $0.50 CVS coupon for CVS brand antacid) = $0.50 Money Maker!
  • (2) CVS Brand Cough Drops on clearance for $0.74 each = $1.48 (Used $1.00/2 Red Machine Coupon for Cough Drops) = $0.48
  • (2) Nuance Conditioners (should have been one shampoo & one conditioner but my 6 year old was acting up so I goofed and bought two conditioners lol) = $15.58 (Used 3 CVS coupons here which took $11.00 off: $3.00 off any Nuance purchase, $5.00/$15.00 Nuance purchase & $3.00 off $15.00 any shampoo/conditioner purchase) = $4.58
Subtotal before sale & coupons: $27.62
Less coupons: ($18.28)
Total after sale, tax and coupons: $5.29 (Saved 22.68)

Transaction #2
  • (1) Kit Kat Minis 8 oz size on sale for $3.00. Used $2.50/1 Kit Kat Minis CVS coupon = $0.50
Subtotal before sale and coupon: $4.39
Less coupon: ($2.50)
Total after sale, coupon, & tax: $0.54 (Saved $3.89)
