CVS ~ $3.24 for $97.74 worth of merchandise! :)

Did I ever tell you how much I love CVS? LOL It's just the best store ever! I went in there this evening (Saturday). Yes, you can go in on Saturday evening because that's when the sales cycle starts. Our CVS starts at 4:00 pm. The only thing is that you have to keep track of what ECBs you are supposed to get because they may not print out on your receipt. The cashier had to force one of my ECBs but they are totally nice about it. I did three transactions today in order to maximize my ECBs and use the coupons I wanted to use. 

Here's how I did it:

Transaction #1: P&G Deal ~ Buy $30 worth of specified products, receive a $10 ECB

• (6) Pantene @ 2/$6.00 (sale price from current week which will be 2/$7 tomorrow) = $18.00 (Less 3 - B1, G1 Free MFG Coupons= -$14.97 & a $3.00/$15.00 CVS coupon for hair care products) = $0.03 
• (4) Dawn @ $0.97 each (Less 3 - $0.25 off MFG coupons) = $3.13
• (2) Secret Deodorant @ B1,G1 1/2 off = $8.68 (Less 2 - $1.00 off MFG coupons) = $6.68

Subtotal before coupons: $30.56

Less Coupons: ($25.71)

Less ECBs from last week: ($8.00)

Total out of pocket: $1.84, Received a $10.00 ECB

P.S. Sometimes I have no clue how the math works on this!! I know it's not adding up right! :/ The reciept says I saved $45.96.

Transaction #2:

• (6) Herbal Essence @ 2/$5.00 (less $5.00/any two Clairol Products MFG coupon) = FREE
• (1) Kit Kat Minis @ $3.00 each (less $2.50/1 Printable Coupon) = $0.50
• (2) Puffs Plus Tissues @ $0.99 each (Less $1.00/2 MFG coupon) = $0.98
• (1) Tampax Radiant @ $3.99 (Less $2.00/1 MFG coupon) = $1.99, received a $1.00 ECB
• (1) Colgate Optic White Toothbrush @ $5.49 (Less $1.00 MFG coupon) = $4.49
• (1) Colgate Mouthwash @ $5.79 (Less $1.00 MFG coupon & $2.00/$10 oral care CVS coupon) = $7.28, received a $5.00 ECB

Subtotal before coupons: $35.26

Less Coupons: (24.50)

Less ECB from Transaction #1: ($10.00)

Total out of pocket: $0.81, Received $6.00 in ECB

Transaction #3: 

• (1) Kit Kat Mini (You are only allowed one of the Kit Kat coupons per transaction) @ $3.00 (less $2.50/1 Printable coupon) = $0.50
