Walgreens ~ Saved $34.68 Today :)

I'm not the best shopper at Walgreens because I have to admit that it still confuses me but I wanted to get the Kotex U and the Reach toothbrushes this week so I went in to see what I could do with that. Here's what I ended up doing. I spent $8.09 and saved a total of $34.68 today. Not too bad, considering I didn't spend time looking for cheap filler items and bought some nail art stickers that were NOT on sale. Shame on me! I could have knocked off about $4.50 from the total I spent if I had looked for $0.10-$0.15 filler items and had not bought the stickers. ;)

Transaction #1:

• (4) Caress Daily Silk Bars - Regular Price $1.79, on sale for $1.29 each, less $1.25/1 Caress Bar Soap coupon from the 7/28 RP = $0.04 each or $0.16 total
• (1) Reach Toothbrush - Regular Price $4.49, on sale for $2.99 with a $2.00 RR due at checkout, less $2.00 MFG printable coupon good on a double pack of Reach toothbrushes = $0.99, Rc'd $2.00 RR so it's a $1.01 money maker! 

Subtotal: $1.15

Total OOP: $1.24, Rc'd $2.00 RR from the Reach Toothbrush Purchase

Transaction #2:

• Kotex U - Regular Price $5.79, on sale for $3.99, less $2.00 off IVC coupon in the July coupon book = $1.99
• Kotex U - Regular Price $5.79, on sale for $3.99, less $2.00 off IVC coupon in the July coupon book = $1.99

Total for both Kotex = $3.98, less $2.00/2 MFG printable coupon = $1.98 for both!

• Nail File for filler item since I used 3 coupons and only had two products. The nail file made 3 products. = $0.89

Subtotal: $2.87

Less Register Reward from Trans #1 = ($2.00)

Total Paid OOP: $0.94 (includes tax)

Transaction #3:

• (1) Reach toothbrush - Regular price $3.79, on sale for $2.99 with a $2.00 RR due at checkout, less $1.00 MFG printable coupon, good on one Reach toothbrush = $1.99, Rc'd a $2.00 RR so it was a $0.01 money maker
• Kiss Nail Art - $2.99

Subtotal: $4.98

Total Paid OOP: $5.39, Rc'd a $2.00 RR for the Reach Toothbrush purcahse

Transaction #4:

• (2) Windex Bottles, Regular Price $4.29, on sale for $2.50 each, less a $1.00/1 IVC coupon in the July coupon book, less (2) $0.75 off Tear Pad coupons for Windex I found at another store = $2.50
• (1) Nail Polish Remover for a filler item - $0.99

Subtotal: $3.49

Less Register Reward from Trans #3 = ($2.00)

Total Paid OOP: $1.61 (includes tax)
