Walgreens will be changing their store reward system to a point system. Starting 9/6, you will be able to sign up at www.walgreens.com/balance or you can sign up in the store starting 9/16. You will begin earning points on your purchases and will be able to redeem them in store and online.
5,000 = $5
10,000 = $10
18,000 = $20
30,000 = $35
40,000 = $50
It's reported that your points won't expire as long as you shop at Walgreens once every 6 months and redeem your points within 3 years! Sounds great to me!
